AIDS LINKAGE RESEARCH PROJECT
City of Houston

Funded by the Center for Disease Control in Washington, this project measures the degree to which each of the organizations participating in the research project duplicates services and/or has partnerships to supply services to the AIDS community in Houston. Participants include the Red Cross, the United Way, plus numerous private, state, and local organizations. Powersource responsibilities include:

  • The design and implementation of the database supporting the research project
  • Data-conversion to populate the new database from the research software's internal database
  • Architecture of the relational database that supports the research findings and integrates that data into the city's data retrieval process
  • Preparation of a new reporting system for ongoing measurement of the changes in service linkages between agencies
  • Preparation of the SALP operating budget for technology in preparation for future government funding Construction of a training module that enables city workers to update and add to the main database via the web
