There are many other places listing locations of survivors and refugees of Hurricane Katrina. Below are a few of them.
We know that there will be duplicates in some places, but we felt the need to have a resource that not only has
search (to eliminate the need to browse over many many pages or message boards), but has a place where
volunteers can be listed and contacted,
and where family and friends can request notification if a loved one is added. But as you can see, our list is small.
Feel free to enter names of refugees if you know where they are (and you can find some on
these lists).
